Flux solution focused on recovery of valuable metal alloy units from slag.
Problem
Valuable alloy is lost to slag due to highly oxidising furnace slag, which increases cost and reduces yield; otherwise, expensive aluminium metal or FeSi is needed to kill the bath.
Science
SlagKill-100 conditions the slag to reduce alloy losses and improve separation on high-value heats. With a minimum 20% metallic Al in the formulation, it is confirmed to kill the slag.
