Induction-furnace slag conditioner for FeO control, slag–metal separation, power saving and yield improvement.
High FeO, sticky slag, slow slag–metal separation and inconsistent skimming reduce furnace turnaround and yield in induction-furnace practice.
Mular-30 supports FeO control and encourages a fluffier, lower-liquidus slag that separates from the metal more readily, applied at approximately 5 kg/MT and saves 20 to 40 units of power while recovering 8 kg steel pmt.
